These terms explain how you may use the Scrollwell learning portal and what you and Scrollwell can expect from each other. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use your personal data. By creating an account, registering for a programme or using the portal, you accept these terms.

- Prices are in Indian rupees, and the GST is shown before you pay. You get a GST invoice for every payment.

- Recordings are for learners of that programme only. Please do not record or share sessions or materials.
- Certificates follow the rules shown for your programme, and anyone with a certificate ID can check it.
- Questions or complaints: info@scrollwell.com, or our Grievance Officer (section 20).

1. Who we are
The portal at academy.scrollwell.com (the "portal") is run by Scrollwell Edutech LLP ("Scrollwell", "we", "us"). "You" means the person using the portal. These terms cover the portal, its registration and payment pages, and the emails and WhatsApp messages we send about your programmes. Our other websites and apps may have their own terms. Our contact details are in section 21.
2. Who can use the portal
- You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. The portal is not meant for children.
- The portal is for teachers, faculty members, researchers, professionals and others who take Scrollwell programmes.
- If you register on behalf of an institution (for example, with the institution's GSTIN on the invoice), you confirm that you are allowed to do so. The person who attends is the learner and must accept these terms.
- Give true and complete details and keep them up to date. Your name, designation and institution are printed on certificates exactly as you confirm them.
3. Your account
- You sign in with the email address you registered with, using a one-time code we email you, or a password if you set one.
- Your account is for you alone. Do not share sign-in codes, passwords, joining links, meeting passcodes or your account with anyone.
- You are responsible for what is done through your account. If you think someone else has used it, tell us straight away at info@scrollwell.com.
- We may pause an account to protect you, other learners or the portal (see section 16).
4. Programmes and live sessions
- Each programme page shows its dates, timings (in Indian Standard Time, IST), mode, fee and completion rules. Please read them before you register.
- Live sessions take place on other services, such as Zoom, Google Meet or YouTube. You need a suitable device and internet connection. We are not responsible for problems with your device or connection, or with those services.
- We may need to change trainers, topics, dates, timings or joining links. We show changes on your programme page and tell you by email (and on WhatsApp, if you chose it). If we move a programme to different dates, section 6 explains your refund options.
- Missing sessions does not by itself entitle you to a refund or a certificate.
- Joining links, meeting IDs and passcodes are for you only.
5. Registration, prices and payment
- Prices are in Indian rupees (₹). Before you pay, the page shows the fee, the GST and the total. Scrollwell adds no hidden charges; your bank may charge its own fees.
- When you choose "Hold my seat", we hold your seat for 5 minutes while you pay. If the payment is not completed in time, the hold ends and the seat may go to someone else.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited) by UPI, card, net banking or wallet, and Razorpay's terms apply to the payment itself. Scrollwell never sees or stores your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password.
- Your seat is confirmed only when we receive confirmation of your payment. If your payment reaches us after your seat hold has ended and the programme is full, we refund it in full automatically.
- We issue a GST invoice for each payment, in your name or — if you give its details before you pay — in your institution's name with its GSTIN. The GSTIN must belong to the state you choose. Issued invoices cannot be edited. If something on an invoice is wrong, tell us through "Something wrong?" in the portal, and we will correct it where the law allows.
- You can see and download your payments, invoices and credit notes at any time under More → Payments & invoices.
6. Cancellations and refunds
This is our cancellation and refund policy for paid programmes.
- If you cancel. You get a full refund if you ask at least 7 days before the programme's start date — that is, by 11:59 PM IST on the date 7 days before the first day. Your Payments & invoices page shows this date for each registration. After that date, you do not get a refund.
- If we cancel a programme, you get a full refund.
- If we move a programme to different dates and you cannot attend the new dates, you get a full refund if you ask before the new start date.
- Payment problems. If you were charged twice, charged for a payment that did not go through, or paid after your seat hold ended when no seat was left, we refund that amount in full.
- No refund for missing sessions, not meeting the certificate rules, problems with your own device or connection, changing your mind after the refund date, or being removed from a programme for seriously breaking these terms.
- How to ask. Use "Something wrong?" in the portal, or email info@scrollwell.com from your registered email address, with your registration number (shown on Payments & invoices). We go by the time we receive your request.
- How refunds are paid. Approved refunds go back to the payment method you used, through Razorpay. We aim to start a refund within 7 working days of approving it; banks usually take another 5–7 working days to show it. You receive a GST credit note for each refund, which you can download from Payments & invoices.
- A full refund ends your place in the programme; a part refund does not. Seats cannot be transferred to another person unless we agree in writing.
7. Recordings and behaviour in sessions
- Sessions may be recorded. Recordings are available only to learners enrolled in that programme, in the portal's Classroom.
- If you speak, turn on your camera or write in the chat, your name, voice, image or messages may appear in the recording. If you do not want this, keep your camera and microphone off and do not post in the chat.
- Do not record, photograph, stream or share sessions, recordings, joining links or materials yourself.
- Be respectful to trainers and other learners. The host may remove anyone who disrupts a session.
8. Certificates
- We issue a certificate when you meet the completion rules published for your programme (for example attendance, quiz and feedback).
- Before it is issued, confirm the name, designation and institution to be printed. Please check the spelling: we print exactly what you confirm. To correct a certificate after it is issued, use "Something wrong?".
- Anyone with a certificate's ID can check it on our public verification page, which shows the name it was awarded to, the programme, the institution, the certificate type and the date awarded.
- A Scrollwell certificate records your participation in, or completion of, a Scrollwell programme. It is not a degree, a diploma or a government-recognised qualification unless the programme page clearly says so.
- We may cancel (revoke) a certificate that was issued by mistake, or obtained with false information or by breaking these terms. A revoked certificate shows as not valid on the verification page.
9. Learning Hours, Activity Zone and AI tools
- Learning Hours are extra live sessions for learners who meet the eligibility shown in the portal (for example, holding a number of Scrollwell certificates). Places may be limited, and booking details and passcodes are for you only. We may change or cancel a Learning Hour.
- Activity Zone. Work you hand in (text and a link) stays yours. You allow Scrollwell to store it, review it and comment on it and — only if you choose to show it — to display it, with your name, to other learners of that programme. You can make it private again at any time. Hand in only your own work, and do not include other people's personal data.
- AI tools. Our guides to AI tools are for information only. Those tools are run by other companies with their own terms, prices and privacy practices, and we do not control or endorse them. Check anything an AI tool produces before you rely on it.
10. Emails and WhatsApp messages
- Service messages. We email sign-in codes, registration confirmations, invoices, reminders, schedule changes and certificate updates. They are needed to run the service.
- WhatsApp. If you choose, we also send your joining details, schedule changes and a reminder before each session on WhatsApp to the mobile number in your profile. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP, or in My profile, where you can also switch reminders off.
- Programme news. We may email you about future Scrollwell programmes. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also switch them off in My profile.
11. Acceptable use
You must not:
- share, lend or sell your access, joining links, passcodes, recordings or materials;
- post or hand in anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing or misleading, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
- pretend to be someone else or give false information;
- upload or link to viruses or other harmful code;
- try to get into accounts or parts of the portal you are not allowed to use, test its security without our written permission, or overload it;
- copy content or data from the portal by automated means; or
- use the portal in any way that breaks Indian law.
We may remove anything that breaks these rules.
12. Intellectual property
- The portal, the programme materials (slides, handouts, recordings, quizzes and guides) and Scrollwell's name and logo belong to Scrollwell or to its trainers and licensors.
- You may use the materials only for your own learning. You may not copy, sell, publish or share them publicly, or use them to run your own training, without our written permission.
- We may use suggestions and ideas you send us to improve our programmes, without payment to you.
13. Feedback and testimonials
We use your feedback to improve our programmes. We publish a testimonial with your name only if you tick the box that allows it. To withdraw that permission, write to us: we will not use it in anything new, although we cannot recall material that has already been published or shared.
14. Other services
Razorpay, Zoom, Google Meet, YouTube, WhatsApp, Telegram and other services used with the portal have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability or for what they do.
15. Availability and changes to the portal
We work to keep the portal available, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or because of problems with hosting or the internet. We may improve, change or remove features.
16. Pausing or closing an account
- You can ask us to close your account and erase your personal data, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Certificates already issued stay verifiable, and we keep the records the law requires.
- We may pause or close your account, or remove you from a programme, if you break these terms, misuse the portal, or if the law requires it. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
- If we remove you from a programme for seriously or repeatedly breaking these terms, no refund is due (section 6).
17. Our responsibility to you
- We deliver our programmes with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise any particular result, such as a job, a promotion or an academic outcome.
- As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss (such as lost income or opportunities), or for problems caused by your device, your internet connection or other services.
- As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you for a programme is limited to the amount you paid for it.
- Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or under any other law that cannot be excluded.
18. Your responsibility
If you break these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against Scrollwell because of it, you are responsible for the loss this causes us, as far as the law allows.
19. Changes to these terms
The version of these terms, and the date it took effect, are shown at the top of this page. When we change the terms, we update the version and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in.
